I had big plans...

I had big plans for this week. It's the 2nd week my daughter is in preschool/day care for three full days. I haven't had time like this in four years. I had lists of what I was going to do. Lists that were broken down to specific manageable tasks. This was the week that I was really going to get moving. I was going to work on all of the projects I need to complete as part of my part-time work as a virtual assistant. I have a whole list of what I want to blog about and was going to write them all out. I was going to start the landscape on the canvas that I prepped last week (see above picture). Everything was set. Everything was going to get done ...and then ...I got the flu.  So a lot of it has to wait for next week and maybe the week after that.  I think 2013 is just going to have to start off slower than I had anticipated.

How about you? Do you ever have weeks like this? Or days where you have everything planned out and then it all goes out the window because of something you couldn't control?
